Vaiakura Holiday Homes

Absolute beach front, situated on the west side of the island Vaiakura Holiday Homes offers you the opportunity to wake to the sound of the waves breaking on the reef and enjoy the sunsets in the evening from your very own deck overlooking your own private beach.

Your home away from home, Vaiakura Holiday Homes offers you the chance to enjoy your Holiday in Rarotonga, Cooks Islands staying in fully furnished, fully equipped accommodation with all of the space you’d enjoy in your own home.

You can always call into the many Resorts for lunch, dinner, cocktails and some allow you to swim in their pool – but it’s nice at the end of the day to go home, put your feet up, throw some fish or steak on the BBQ, garlic bread in the oven, your own coldies in the fridge and sit on the deck in your shorts and watch the sunsets from your very own deck overlooking your own private beach. Sleep when you like and wake when you like – no-one will interrupt you with room servicing, no-one will go into your home while you’re out and no other patrons will be passing your front door. Enjoy the serenity of the morning, read a book on the deck, quiet walks on the beach, or just sit and watch the tide come in and go out and the waves continuously breaking on the reef.

Swimming
Arorangi area has a lot of loose coral in the lagoon and we are forbidden by law to move it with machinery. We have however, cleared a small swimming/ cooling off spot directly in front of Vaiakura Holiday Homes and we ask our guests, while you’re having a dip, to throw a few stones/coral to help keep the spot going. There’s a great swimming snorkelling spot about 80 metres along the beach or hop on a scooter and ride around the island to stop at the many great swimming and snorkelling areas.
